If we don’t teach our children to follow Christ,
the world will teach them not to.
Children’s Ministry is a vital part of Vivid Adventist Church. Our mission is to provide opportunities for children to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18) We implement that mission through these goals: to teach God’s word in fresh, exciting ways using a variety of teaching methods, events, and multi-media; to give kids the opportunity to worship God with their whole heart as an expression of their love for Him; and to put our relationship with God into action through serving one another.
Our Children’s ministry provides a weekly one hour class, starting at 11:00 am every Saturday, full of ways for your children to engage with and grown in. Our weekly programming is a reflection of our staff’s passion for helping your children discover God and His plan for their lives.
The best way to find yourself
is to lose yourself in the service of others.
At Vivid Adventist Church we believe that service to one another and our neighbors is an essential part of a healthy community, just as it was in Jesus’ ministry while on Earth. We understand that preaching the Gospel and serving our fellow neighbor cannot be separated and go hand in hand.
Volunteering at Vivid Adventist Church is a wonderful way to give back by sharing your gifts, having fun, and getting involved. At Vivid, we offer great opportunities whether you are looking to volunteer regularly or you are just interesting in something short-term. From serving at our local food bank, to working on a toy drive, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved. We appreciate all of our volunteers because we rely on your help to provide these valuable services to our community.

Let every breath, all that I am,
never cease to worship you.
Worship is not simply lyrics that we sing or music that evokes an emotion; it is a posture of heart that is demonstrated in humility, thankfulness, and obedience to His word. The apostle John tells us to worship “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). When we really know the truth – God’s divine plan to redeem the universe and us along with it – the natural response is to express gratitude that our life has not only purpose, but a future that only God’s mercy and grace can provide.
At Vivid Adventist Church, our goal is to provide an opportunity to exercise what the Apostle Paul encourages, to “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”(Col. 3:16). Every week our musicians and vocalist get together to craft a set list of hymns and worship songs that will reveal more and more about the beauty of God.
